Influence and political power are two ingredients that attracts miracles easily and readily from God. Here is why. God based on his principles in the bible, is interested in reaching a greater number of people and would readily use anyone with what it takes to reach a lot of people. It does not matter whether they are Christians or not. Unfortunately, Christians have not understood these principles that the bible is full of.
Here a some examples that proves that God will readily use unbelievers with influence or political power rather than Christians.
Before the great famine in the ancient world, the man that was closest to God was Jacob. In fact God so loved Jacob that He changed Jacob’s name to Israel that means Prince of God. But when a famine was about to hit the world, God left Jacob and went to inform a pagan Pharaoh via a dream of what he was about to do.
God used Nebuchadnezzar and Cyrus greatly yet these where pagan kings that did not believe in God. God used them despite the fact that they were unbelievers. The one thing that they had was political power and influence.
God understands the importance of influence and political power so much that when he wanted to rescue the Israelites from slavery, he had to put Moses under the tutelage of Pharaoh for him to learn about and acquire influence and political power.
After the crucifixion of Jesus, he would have been buried in an unmarked grave like all Roman political prisoners are buried but it took a man with influence and political power called Joseph of Arimathea to ask for his body. This was how Jesus ended up being buried in a known tomb.
Unfortunately, Christians have not come to realise the importance that God places in having significant influence and political power when they want him to speedily come to their aid.
God is in the wholesale business. He is looking for people through whom he can bless the world. When he cannot find that among believers, he would switch immediately to unbelievers who have the influence or political power to make impact.
As long as you do not take time to start becoming influential in whatever area you are operating, then God has little use for you because whatever he blesses you with will be of little benefit to the greater society. God is ready to allow a despot remain in power if that despot will maintain law and order.
He will not give power to a Christian who has done little or nothing to become politically powerful or influential in the sphere he finds himself.
WHAT LEVEL OF INFLUENCE OR POLITICAL POWER DO YOU HAVE?
