I want to write this simple guide for solving any problem that is holding you down as a pharmacist or as a stake holder in Nigerian pharmacy practice. I want to do this because I might not be able to handle all the calls that I have been getting from pharmacists with challenges.
A young pharmacist contacted me a few days ago and narrated a challenge he was having with his employer. His employer had refused to pay him and when he tendered his resignation, his employer refused to give him a release/ acceptance of resignation letter without which he could not get another job.
This young pharmacist had been trying to solve this problem for months through his local PSN and was even at the verge of giving up and looking for a job outside the profession. Someone gave him my contact, I told him what to do and within 24 hours, his problem was resolved.
So, I want to give you a simple guide to solving any problem you are having with registering your premises or getting your licesnse especially when you think you are been victimised.
HERE IS THE SIMPLE GUIDE
1. BUY ALL THE Pharmacy registration guide books at PCN state office closest to you and read them.
2. WRITE A LETTER STATING YOUR PROBLEM TO THE LOCAL PCN OFFICE AND GET AN ACKNOWLEDGED COPY OF THAT LETTER AND FOLLOW IT UP. Write a least three more follow up letters and get your own copy. If this does not work
3. SEND A REGISTERED MAIL TO THE REGISTRAR AT PCN OFFICE IDU ABUJA, Enclose all your previous letters. If you do nt get a response
4. SEND AN EMAIL TO firstname.lastname@example.org and include copies of all your previous mails
However, I will strongly suggest you call the PCN head of legal unitin Abuja on 0803917 7724 for advise on very knotty cases especially when the forces against you seem too big for you.
Hope this simple guide helps you sort out your problems.
